Position Overview:

The Keshequa Central School is seeking an innovative and student-centered Business Teacher to serve students in grades 5 through 12. This full-time position includes teaching middle school business exploration courses, high school electives, and potentially college-level business offerings. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop both core business knowledge and the real-world skills employers seek today—including critical thinking, teamwork, digital literacy, and professional communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, standards-based instruction in:
     

    • Middle school business foundations: Personal finance, entrepreneurship, digital citizenship, and career exploration

    • High school business electives: Accounting, Sports Marketing, Business Law, Criminal Law, Business Communications, and Keyboarding

    • College-level or dual-enrollment courses in partnership with higher education institutions (if qualified)
       

  • Embed transferable career-readiness skills into daily instruction:
     

    • Communication, collaboration, leadership, problem-solving, adaptability, and digital fluency
       

  • Use project-based learning and authentic assessments to connect instruction with current workplace expectations

  • Incorporate NYS Career Development and Occupational Studies (CDOS) standards and pathways

  • Engage students in work-based learning experiences and prepare them for participation in co-curricular programs (e.g.Junior Achievement)

  • Maintain effective classroom management, grading, and communication practices

  • Collaborate with colleagues across grade levels to build a cohesive, skill-aligned business curriculum

Position Summary:

Keshequa Central School is seeking a passionate and qualified educator to serve in a dual role as a Middle and High School Interventionist and ENL (English as a New Language) Teacher. This position will focus on delivering targeted academic interventions to students in Grades 5–12 while also providing direct ENL services to English Language Learners (ELLs). The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to supporting diverse learners and closing achievement gaps through data-informed, inclusive instructional practices.

Primary Responsibilities:

Academic Interventionist (Grades 5–12):

  • Provide small-group and individualized instruction in literacy and/or mathematics to students identified through the RTI/MTSS process.

  • Collaborate with instructional teams and building leadership to design, implement, and monitor academic interventions.

  • Support co-teaching and push-in/pull-out models based on student needs.

  • Use formative and diagnostic assessment data to guide instructional planning.

  • Participate in team meetings focused on student support, data analysis, and progress monitoring.

English as a New Language (ENL) Services:

  • Deliver direct ENL instruction aligned with NYS Part 154 regulations.

  • Provide language development support for ELLs across content areas.

  • Collaborate with general and special education teachers to support integrated ENL instruction.

  • Maintain accurate documentation for ENL programming and student progress.

  • Engage families of English Language Learners and promote culturally responsive communication.

Position Overview

Keshequa Central School is seeking an Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year.  The individual will work with various classifications of students in special education programs in individual and/or group sessions. The individual will provide treatment to enable activities of daily living and develop fine motor skills and sensory integration for students with various disabilities. The individual will participate with other school personnel in the development and implementation of the Individualized Education Program (IEP). The individual will assess students for initial placement of services, re-evaluate for triennial review, and quarterly monitor the progress of the students. The individual will write and maintain session notes and any other required documentation for the purpose of Medicaid billing. The individual will participate in team meetings and write monthly progress notes for the students. Pediatric and school experience are desired. Regular attendance and dependability are required. Other responsibilities may be assigned.

 

Responsibilities

  • Delivering evidence-based treatment and interventions to students district wide (K-12) in a variety of settings

  • Conducting evaluations, reevaluations and consultations including the use of a variety of tools including standardized measures;- Determining recommendations for services based on individual student needs as it pertains to the learning process and modifying as appropriate;

  • Developing a treatment plan based upon assessment findings, including measurable goals;

  • Acting as a consultant to provide strategies for classroom teachers;

  • Completing documentation of all evaluations, reevaluations, daily progress notes and discharge summaries per New York State, District, and

  • Medicaid regulations; and documentation of Progress Notes and consultations per District guidelines;

  • Collaborating with supervisors, colleagues, physicians, teams, parents, community members and/or other support staff as appropriate.

  • Maintaining daily schedule per district guidelines;

Position Overview:

Keshequa Central School is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year. The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides comprehensive speech and language services to students to support communication development and academic success. The SLP works collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and pragmatic communication disorders in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and applicable federal and state regulations.
The Speech-Language Pathologist plays a key role in fostering inclusive learning environments, implementing evidence-based interventions, and supporting students’ social, emotional, and educational growth.

Responsibilities

  • The SLP is responsible for the evaluation, diagnosis, and recommendation for therapeutic intervention for students (grades PreK-12) with communication disorders in an educational setting

  • In addition, responsibilities include the implementation of appropriate Speech-Language Pathology instruction designed to teach, habilitate or rehabilitate the communicatively impaired student

  • Imparting knowledge via the implementation of appropriate Speech-Language Pathology instruction

  • Display competence in the area of speech-language impairment (either licensed or under the careful direction and supervision of a licensed SLP)

  • Determines type and severity of speech-language impairment

  • Evaluation, diagnosis, and recommendation for therapeutic intervention for individuals with communication disorders

  • Working collaboratively with other professionals such as the classroom teacher, other SLPs, OTs, PTs, Audiologists, supervisors and other as appropriate

  • Submits written reports of the evaluations, treatment and educational plans, progress reports, and discharge reports as appropriate

  • Maintain paperwork within legal and district guidelines

  • Ensures paperwork is completed in a timely and organized fashion

  • Makes appropriate referrals as needed in order to affect positive therapeutic results

  • Communicates regularly with family/student

  • Participate in the delivery of and/or attend in-service programs

  • Participate in formal staff training

  • Maintain SLP licensure and TSSLD certification

  • Any other duty as requested by your supervisor
