Keshequa Central School provides a range of rigorous programs that help students achieve. The district believes in supporting students and providing opportunities that will enable all students to develop their talents and pursue individual interests. Our mission is to understand each student’s interests, needs, and ambitions in order to prepare all students for graduation with knowledge, character and the ability to lead successful lives.
The district is situated between the beautiful Letchworth and Stony Brook State parks. There are two campuses, the Dalton Campus has one elementary (grades Prek-4), and the Nunda Campus has one middle school (grades 5-8) and one high school (grades 9-12).
Position Overview
Keshequa Central School is seeking, for 2026-2027 school year, a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to inspire students through high-quality music instruction. The successful candidate will foster musical skill development, creativity, and an appreciation for music while supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of all learners.
Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging music instruction aligned with New York State Learning Standards (or applicable state standards)

Teach general music and/or instrumental/vocal music, depending on assignment

Develop age-appropriate lessons that build musical literacy, performance skills, and creativity

Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback

Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners

Prepare students for performances, concerts, and school events as appropriate

Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff

Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and program goals

Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and school activities

Uphold district policies, procedures, and expectations
