Position Overview:
Keshequa Central School is currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Media Arts Teacher with a focus on integrating STEAM principles for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality instruction in media arts, fostering a positive environment, and contributing to the overall academic success of our students.
Responsibilities:
As a Media Arts Teacher with STEAM integration, you will:

Design and deliver engaging and hands-on media arts lessons with a focus on digital media, multimedia production, and visual storytelling.

Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and artistic exploration among students.

Develop interdisciplinary lesson plans that blend media arts concepts with STEAM activities, ensuring alignment with New York State Art standards.

Deliver dynamic and interactive art lessons inspiring curiosity and creativity among students.

Utilize a variety of teaching methods accommodating diverse learning styles and abilities.

Provide guidance and support to students as they engage in hands-on art projects.

Identify and gather necessary materials, tools, and equipment required for media arts activities and STEAM integration.

Ensure proper and safe use of all art equipment, technology, and software during class activities.

Provide constructive feedback to students on their projects, problem-solving approaches, and overall performance.

Stay current with advancements in media arts education, digital technologies, and creative arts, infusing the latest trends and technologies into the curriculum.

Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves and take risks.

Enforce classroom rules and safety protocols to ensure a secure learning environment.
